I Dream
I dream of war, because before there is peace there must be war
I dream of a place where there is no more pain, because all I have known is pain
I dream of a world without death, because of all of the loved ones I have never known
I dream of knowledge, because with knowledge comes power
I dream of oceans, because with oceans I have found my peace
I dream of happiness, because I've almost forgotten what that is
I dream of silence, because silence numbs the pain
I dream of home, because I don't know where that is anymore
I dream of love unspoiled, because this world has a way of rotting
I dream of heaven
