Brief bio: In 1999 after breaking up with Tura Satana, lead singer Tairrie B. formed the solo project dubbed My Ruin. She released a single, then the full album Speak & Destroy. In 2000 Meghan Mattox and Mick Murphy joined the lineup and My Ruin came out with A Prayer Under Pressure of Violent Anguish. In 2001 Yael joined the band on drums, and To Britian With Love... and Bruises was released. In 2003 the EP The Shape of Things to Come, and the full album, the Horror of Beauty, were released. In 2005 Yael and Meghan left the band, Chris Lisee and Jason Brunk were added to the line-up. The new album, The Brutal Language, was released September 27, 2005. In 2005, Jason left the band and in December Matt LeChevalier joined the lineup.
