Spring 2003

Internet / Intranet Design 1 - Class Description: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to develop a basic Internet/Intranet web site. Students learn the basics of web design and client side mark up languages including HTML, CSS, XHTML, and XML.
Note: I took this class before it was an XHTML class. It used to be just HTML, CSS and Perl.
Even though I knew HTML before I took this class, I took the class anyway, mostly to learn Perl.
Note that all pages were edited in Dreamweaver 2004.

Project One - Create a basic website that contains multiple links to other pages

Graphic Arts Design - Class Description: Necessary tools and components to produce hi-res and web based graphics are presented.
New technologies such as "bit-stitching" are covered.

Project 1 - a composite picture made of vegetables

lily - sketch of some lillies, colored in with an added border
attack of the ducks - I got bored
butterfly - a black and white image of a butterfly, recolored
parrot1 - a black and white image of a parrot, recolored
egret - a picture of an egret with some filter effects
giant meerkat - a meerkat really badly added to a landscape scene
catmask - a catmask
cd album cover and back cover
parrot2 - parrot image recolored in neon style
logo1 - a logo
logo2 - another logo
my tv guide cover - project goal was to create a tv guide cover
penguin1 - another photo composite; this time adding penguins to a beach.
extra credit for adding footprints in the sand
penguin2 - another composite; removed a house from the image and inserted the penguin into the fields
diesel - yet another photo composite
my own logo design - in color and in black and white
pear project - picture of two pears with some different image effects applied
freak animation - I got bored in class again
