Flash Animation- Class Description: The focus is on the multimedia content creation through the implementation of Macromedia Flash.
Upon completion, the student will have developed a mastery of animations, interface design and ability to use Actionscript effectively.
Class projects:
All projects open in a new window. I have indicated whenever a project uses sound.
Heart- we had to look at a heart image and make it as close as we could using the pen tool,
and we were only allowed to have four points when we were finished ~ gif
outline - my name with an outline around it ~ gif
Input lab- type in a web address in the text box and then
press the button and it will go to that website. ~ swf
Raindrops - raindrops of different size, shape, opacity (alpha) ~ swf
dynamic lab- a fahrenheit/celsius convertor ~ swf
animated name - my name, moving across the stage ~ swf
Yogi Bear - we had to view an image of Yogi and draw it in Flash ~ gif
Fred Flintstone - we had to view an image of Fred and draw it in Flash ~ gif
stick figure - an animated stick figure ~ swf
menu - a basic website using buttons to link to the various pages ~ swf
components lab - an example of using an array and function to update text ~ swf
ball lab- a bouncing ball, with sound ~ swf
circle track - a race car on a track, with sound ~ swf
background scroller - we were told to make a scene with a scrolling background, with sound ~ swf
practice - an example of a powerpoint like slide / exe example ~ exe
ufo lab - video game example; use the arrowkeys and shortcuts or buttons to change the ufo ~ swf
final cartoon - this was our final; we just had to make a cartoon with a plot, sound included~ swf
